Overview

Our stay from the 2/9 September at this hotel was very easy overall. For my height the bed was a bit low but the hotel staff raise the bed for us. The shower had an adjustable seat so it was very easy. The toilet was a standard disabled toilet. The bedroom and the shower room/toilet were both very big for my wheelchair to get around. We had B/B and the breakfast was very good with a selection to suit everyone. Hotel located to local transport (Bus/Metro) which are both very wheelchair friendly. http://en.ilunionbarcelona.com/

Transport & Parking

Did not use the hotel car park. Transport around Barcelona:- Bus, Metro, Tram, Trains and Coaches were all very good.

Access

Access throughout the hotel was very good.

Toilets

The hotel loo was very good but access to city loos are very disappointing. Space was very restricted and most toilets were too low for my height which is 6' 2" / 1.87m

Staff

You couldn't ask for friendlier staff very willing to help.

We flew from Gatwick Airport where we used the Eagle 2 Lifter https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJgJ-UP7c4U which was a fantastic transfer from the OCS PRM crew. Barcelona PRM crew at the airport do not use this lift and I found the transfer very rough.
