Overview
Getting in and around the gallery was easy as a powerchair user.
Transport & Parking
Parking in nearby St Andrew Square in pay and display. Buses run along Queen Street.
Access
Disabled access was very good. A super sized lift takes you between floors, an accessible toilet is on the ground floor, and there are large print guides available. Lots of information is available on the website. Plenty of space to get around the shop and cafe.
Toilets
An accessible toilet on the ground floor. Large, clean and well equipped. Door can be tricky as it opens into the flow of people visiting the male toilets.
Staff
Staff get ten out of ten. They helped with the doors getting in and out of the gallery. Assisted with using the lift and were generally friendly and helpful.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
A great place to visit with lots of space to get around and enjoy all the amazing portraits. At different times there are different exhibitions taking place and a full calendar of events.
