Overview
We arrived just as the cafe was closing but they invited us to use the snug and served us the most delicious coffee and cakes and made us feel very welcome on their leather sofas. Also very interesting gallery and shop
Transport & Parking
Can park on the road right out side.
Access
The ground floor is fully accessible - so that's the cafe and a part of the gallery. Upstairs gallery isn't accessible - a flight of stairs with a slid handrail. But plenty to look at in shop and ground floor area while waiting or chill out with magazines and newspapers in the snug
Toilets
Bang in the middle of ground floor with room for the whole family
Staff
As I ve said they went out of their way to make us feel welcome while getting out the mop buckets at the end of a long day. Have been back on a number of occasions and always relish food - especially the scones. Possibly best in Northallerton. ANd the photographs aren't to bad either
Anything else you wish to tell us?
I can't wait to go again. Joe Cornish is a well know photographer in these parts and his photos represent the North York Moors and Dales in all their glorious splendor.
