Overview

A highly accessible holiday home for a wheelchair user. Generally, a well thought out space with wet room, purpose built hob and sink. Wonderful for a peaceful holiday.

Transport & Parking

Perfect in a car. Parking right by the house with a paved area where you can put your car if a solid surface is needed.

Access

Well thought out with purpose built wheelchair access in kitchen and one bathroom. A couple of minor issues: the ramp to the garden is a bit steep; it was manageable (up and down) for a confident wheelchair user, but initially it took a glass of wine to master... Also, the door mat is sunk into the wood floor right outside the accessible bathroom which did affect the access slightly.

Toilets

Great! Multiple handles and a good space. Beautifully tiled and decorated.

Staff

Lovely, friendly people to let you in who are then not intrusive. Perfect.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

The Isle of Wight is well veered up for wheelies.... I spotted signs for accessible toilets everywhere!
